I support learners with disabilities at universities who need additional support to help them achieve academic success.

I currently support students in two universities local to me. I provide academic support for students who might be overwhelmed in a new learning environment. I suggest approaches that they might find useful, advise them on when they need to contact tutors and to seek additional support, such as equipment etc. I talk through assessed work and ensure that there is a plan or structure that will enable them to complete and submit the work on time. I help students with their motivation and make sure that they maintain a balanced life while studying. I provide a safe space for students to vent about their experiences.
