Lucila is amazing!!!! Highly recommend tutoring with her.

I had the pleasure of working with Lucila as my Spanish tutor during Intermediate Spanish 202 at Bard College, NY. As an Argentine on a Fulbright Scholarship, she brought passion and expertise to our weekly sessions. Lucila was always well-prepared, focusing on grammar, common homework mistakes, and providing valuable feedback. She enriched our learning with readings, videos, poetry, and music related to Spanish literature and film, which deepened our understanding. Lucila also helped with exam prep and class projects, ensuring we were well-prepared for success. In addition to tutoring, Lucila hosted weekly Spanish tables where she introduced us to delicious Argentinian food she made herself. Her enthusiasm for teaching, combined with her dedication and care for students, made her an exceptional tutor. It was truly a pleasure learning from her and benefiting from her expertise.

Lucila was my tutor for one semester and in essence, she was a huge help in advancing my knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language. She was always patient with me when I would draw a blank on a word or conjugation (which was often!) and would help me work my way through, ensuring that I comprehended what I was saying. The methods used to learn and practice the language were always engaging and never boring; we played a variety of games that focused on vocabulary and gramatical concepts, watched clips of Argentinian novelas to practice our comprehension skills, and talked amongst ourselves to practice conversing in Spanish with low stakes. If you are looking to improve your Spanish or begin learning the beautiful language, I highly recommend working with Lucila to reach your goals!

Lucila is such a caring and supportive teacher who incorporates her own culture and identity into a more holistic Spanish-language approach! I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Spanish and Latin American cultural knowledge.

Amazing tutor! She is great at answering specific questions and the way she structures the tutoring has really helped me with my conversational Spanish.

She is very friendly, all of her lessons were not only educational but also fun and engaging.

Lucila has been an incredible tutor, always willing to help you work through expanding your vocabulary and pronunciation. As a someone who already knew some Spanish when I was tutored, Lucila definitely helped me refine many areas. She got me out of my comfort zone when it came to developing analysis on literary assignments, encouraging me to be more vocal during class time.

Lucila is an excellent tutor! Her teaching style is clear. She’s very nice and patient!! I truly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and friendly tutor ??

She was my tutor and it was so much fun to attend her lessons! She made lessons more enjoyable by bringing very engaging and interesting materials to class. From the very first lesson, she asked me about my areas of interest, and together, we developed a plan for the upcoming lessons. Her awareness of my interests not only helped me to improve my language skills but also helped me to gain valuable facts into my profession.

I had Lucila as a tutor when I was in the basic intensive Spanish course. She was such a wonderful tutor! She was very organized, had lots of fun and creative activities, and was always very kind and available for extra help. Every lesson was very engaging and I really looked forward to it every week. I really could not recommend Lucila more–she is the best!

Lucila was my Spanish tutor at Bard College for a semester and I wish she still was! She is a tremendous help, and makes lessons fun and engaging. She not only elevated my grasp of basic gramatical concepts, but also taught me things like common sayings and some fun slang from different countries that really enhanced my level of Spanish. Not only is she a great tutor, but a lovely person as well! I looked forward to my tutoring sessions with her. Gracias por la ajuda Lucila :)

Lucila is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. I was at a lower level than my peers around me and she made sure I kept pace. Would recommend
