Experienced teacher for adults, professional and GCSE A’level.

I would highly recommend Catherine. She took me from a very basic level of French to a standard where I can comfortably converse with French nationals. Something I did not think was possible when I first started! She offers an excellent blend of learning different essential parts of the language with conversation which really helps to build your competence. She has massively built up my confidence and I cannot thank her enough. Such an excellent teacher and absolutely well worth the investment. Happy learning et bonne chance !

Alex started his lessons with Catherine when he was in primary school and is now preparing for his GCSEs. Catherine has proven to be an excellent teacher, especially for a learner who was initially reluctant. Alex is now excelling in French and has a predicted grade 8. We are extremely pleased with her teaching and would absolutely recommend her. She is patient, dedicated, and passionate about teaching.

I had two years of French lessons with Catherine. The lessons were structured, based around my individual need, and adapted to my interests. She’s an excellent teacher who helped me progress comfortably to a good level and is highly recommended

Mrs Catherine Vaucher was the perfect choice for French tutoring. I started out struggling with grammar and feeling shy about speaking, but now I speak much more naturally and got a high score on my exams. Her lessons are well-structured, with simple explanations, lots of oral practice, interesting materials, and constructive feedback. She is dedicated, motivating, and creates a relaxed environment where mistakes are okay.I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn French seriously and with pleasure!
