I’m an experienced secondary teacher and boarding pastoral leader with many years supporting students aged 11–18 academically and emotionally. My background in boarding has given me a naturally nurturing, maternal approach, helping young people feel safe, understood, and supported — often away from home and during challenging periods of growth. I specialise in building confidence, motivation, emotional resilience, organisation skills, and positive mindset. I work particularly well with students who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or lacking direction, as well as those who are capable academically but need support unlocking their potential. My coaching style is calm, supportive, and practical. I create a relaxed, non-judgemental space where students can talk openly, while guiding them with clear goals and simple strategies they can apply immediately. Sessions are personalised to each student and may focus on confidence-building, managing stress, developing healthy habits, improving focus, or setting achievable goals. Above all, I aim to be a consistent, caring presence who empowers students to believe in themselves and take ownership of their personal growth.
