Online English and Brazilian Portuguese lessons with a native tutor for all levels

Hello! Olá! I’m Amanda, a passionate and experienced English and Brazilian Portuguese tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching languages. I’m a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and have lived in the UK for many years. I hold a degree in English Language Teaching and a degree in Psychology, and I currently work in education in England. Whether you want to learn English or Brazilian Portuguese, I’m here to help you achieve your goals! My lessons are friendly, interactive, and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re a complete beginner, looking to improve your conversational skills, preparing for a trip, or wanting to feel more confident using a language at work or in everyday life, we’ll work together at a pace that suits you. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable and practical, not just about memorising grammar rules! That’s why my lessons focus on real-life communication, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills, while also developing grammar naturally. I particularly enjoy helping students overcome their fear of speaking a new language. Making mistakes is part of the journey, and my aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable practising and asking questions. With my background in teaching and Psychology, I understand that everyone learns differently. I adapt my teaching methods to suit your learning style, interests, and personal goals. What can you expect from my lessons? * Personalised lessons based on your level and objectives. * Plenty of conversation practice and everyday expressions. * Clear explanations of grammar and pronunciation. * Practical activities to build confidence and fluency. * A patient, encouraging, and friendly tutor who genuinely enjoys teaching! My goal is not simply to teach you English or Portuguese, but to help you feel confident using the language in real-life situations. Whether it’s English or Portuguese, I’d love to be part of your learning journey. Let’s learn together! Vamos aprender juntos!
