Experienced tutor offering English/History lessons to GCSE/A Level students

Talks fast which I like because when a teacher talks to slow the lesson can be boring. Easy to understand what he is saying he knows the content in detail and constantly asks questions about what he taught to help you memorise the lesson.

Alfie has worked with my daughter for approximately 3 months and he has made a huge difference to her confidence and self-belief. He is flexible, able to adjust his teaching to my daughter's needs and preferences, makes the topic interesting and is able to explain it in terms that are engaging and relatable. My daughter says he is easy to get on with, friendly and makes learning fun. Thank you Alfie for your enormous support. We couldn't have done it without you.

I found Alfie’s manner of teaching so wonderful and refreshing! He was very patient and supportive with my daughter, during her GCSEs. He really knows how to motivate his students and made my daughter feel more confident and start enjoying History, which was a subject that she least enjoyed.
