I’m a passionate history enthusiast looking to share my knowledge and help students develop a genuine interest in the subject.
Advert description
My approach to teaching history would be to make lessons engaging, clear and enjoyable, while adapting to each student's individual needs and learning style. As someone with a genuine passion for history, I want to help students understand not just what happened in the past, but why events happened and how they shaped the world we live in today.
I would focus on helping students understand key historical events, important figures, causes and consequences, and how to structure strong answers for exams. I would encourage students to ask questions, discuss different interpretations and develop their own understanding of the subject. I would also help students identify areas they find difficult and work through them step by step, building their confidence along the way.
Although my professional background is as a chef rather than a teacher, my work has helped me develop communication, organisation, patience and the ability to work well under pressure. I am enthusiastic, reliable and willing to put in the effort needed to help students succeed.
I have been looking for an opportunity to turn my passion for history into something more, and online tutoring would be an ideal way to do this. My aim would be to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, improving their skills and developing a genuine interest in history.
