Reading tutor prociding Reading lessons to students of all ages

Unlock the joy of reading at any stage of life! Whether your learner is just starting out, or you are an adult looking to boost your confidence, I am here to help. As a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with over 25 years of classroom and tutoring experience, I provide personalized, one-on-one sessions tailored entirely to your unique goals. I specialize in the highly successful Jolly Phonics framework, which I have delivered with outstanding results for many years to build rock-solid foundations in letter sounds, blending, and segmenting. Once decoding is mastered, our core focus shifts entirely to advanced comprehension skills, particularly critical thinking and deep inference. I train readers to look beyond the surface of a text, make logical deductions, analyze themes, and become truly active, analytical thinkers. Using interactive digital tools, engaging texts, and proven literacy strategies, we will build complete reading fluency in a comfortable, encouraging virtual environment. What I offer: • Expert instruction from a QTS teacher with 25+ years of experience • Proven success using the multi-sensory Jolly Phonics scheme • Dedicated training in critical thinking, inference, and deep comprehension • Customized lessons for early readers, teens, and adults • Exceptional value with rates starting at just £25 per hour • Flexible online scheduling to fit your busy life Let’s work together to bridge learning gaps and build lifelong literacy skills.
