English tutor providing lessons to children and adults of all ages

I have a first class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing at Newcastle University, with two years tutoring experience. I currently work as an English Language Assistant for the British Council in Berlin, but I am based in the North East of England. I have extensive background working in education and facilitating workshops, particularly around literature and drama. My first lesson is free, so you can see if we work well together before you commit! I am very friendly, and think about how we can work in a way that is best for how you learn! My lessons work by you telling me what you are struggling with, and we work through it together. I will take time between lessons to think of exercises or recourses that can assist your understanding. I like to think of my lessons as conversations! I can tutor in English Literature, English Language, grammar, phonics, creative writing, learning English as a second language and essay writing. Because I am between cities at the moment, online tutoring works best for me!
