I’m 65 and I think Matthew has the patience of a saint and the way he explains things really helpful even if for me he has to repeat things to me. His enthusiasm and his obvious passion for the guitar is infectious. I’ve had lessons with a couple of other teachers but I felt they thought I was to old to learn or why would I want to learn at my age, but Matthew makes me feel positive and when I do get things right he seems genuinely pleased for me. If I still had young kids I’d definitely send them to Matthew for lessons.

After many years of trying to teach myself the guitar Matthew has put me straight. His knowledge and experience of both music and playing the guitar is invaluable. I am approaching 70 years in age and have dabbled with guitar for years. Finally I decided to bite the bullet, and found Matt as a tutor. Since attending lessons with Matt I am finally beginning to put things together musically. I find Matt to be patient, and he has the ability to put across his lessons both practically and on paper.
