Very experienced retired ex Head of Physics including GCSE and A Level

I have a Masters Degree in Education (MEd) and many years experience of teaching in state, private and overseas schools. Initially I explore the knowledge and understanding of a student by asking questions in a gentle but probing manner. While teaching remotely I use props and similar gestures to make the lesson interactive and a 2 - way process. Once a topic is covered we review and try a range of questions or problems relevant to the particular specification being followed. I believe a lot in short bursts of testing to check upon assimilation and comprehension of the subject matter.
