Experienced language teacher with TESOL degreee can give all levels of ESL
Advert description
I have a Ph.D in Spanish and a graduate certificate in TESOL. I began teaching English in Spain many years ago and have also taught ESL/EFL in Taiwan and here in Washington DC.
Every student has individual needs and capabilities and I always make sure to focus on these specific needs. I use materials which I create myself and also written and spoken materials from the internet including videos and sometimes songs. I always make sure to use concrete, real life examples of spoken English.
Since I went to a British high school in Hong Kong, I am totally familiar with British pronunciation and spelling, so I can teach both British or American English depending on what my students want.
I am patient and experienced with all the typical problems which students of English experience.
