I have a Degree in Education a specialism in English. I have experience of working in primary and secondary education

I have worked in education all my life. My experience has been gained in the maintained as well as the private sector. I believe that I am an empathetic teacher English, English Literature from KS2 to GCSE, with an engaging approach and an empathetic understanding of those with particular learning needs. My teaching methods are incremental and while objectives need to be met, I seek to work with my students, modelling interventions to their needs and giving clear feedback on current performance and future objectives. Although I have no formal qualification for teaching English as a foreign language I have taught abroad in classes where there are up to eighteen nationalities represented. I have availability to work with clients throughout the day and during the evenings.
