Science tutor teaches KS3 and 4 science (combined and triple at GCSE) and KS5 Biology and BTEC Applied science

I have 20 years experience teaching high school science with considerable successes in helping young people reach and exceed their targets. I offer content instructions with tools to aid long term memory, fun and interactive sessions with quizzes and exam technique built into sessions. Sessions are tailored to individual need. So my tutees inform me areas they wish to focus on and we tackle those subjects in a fun and engaging way to ensure that the knowledge and skills ‘stick’. I also focus on exam technique - how to understand the question and what the examiners are looking for in a response. Looking at those little tips and tricks to recognise the science behind a question. I’ve worked with a variety of exam boards and as an examiner during my time as a teacher so bring that experience into sessions.
