My primary method of teaching is through the use of past papers. In my personal experience working through past papers is the most effective way to revise so I usually sit down with my student(s) and, together, go through the paper; walking them through parts they find difficult, while also giving them the space and time to attempt problems themselves. I believe this balance is essential for students to improve their problem solving skills and overall mathematics abilities and confidence.
