Friendly and experienced tutor of english as a foreign language

Hello, my name is Leonor. I have lived in England for over 20 years, which has given me a deep, natural understanding of the English language and culture. I specialise in teaching adults who feel shy, anxious, or insecure about speaking English. My classes are calm, supportive, and judgment-free. I truly believe that learning a language should feel safe, encouraging, and human — not stressful or intimidating. I focus on practical, real-life English, helping my students speak with confidence at their own pace. I explain things simply, using clear examples instead of complicated grammar rules, and I always adapt the lessons to each student’s needs. If you have tried to learn English before and felt that it “wasn’t for you”, I want you to know: you can learn — and I will guide you gently every step of the way.
