I give affordable private 1:1 sessions for children in year 5-6 to support them in the lead up to SATs in primary school

As a current Year 6 primary school teacher, I have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and extensive experience preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs. I know that every child learns differently, and my aim is to create a calm, positive, and supportive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. Preparing for SATs can sometimes feel overwhelming for both children and parents, so I believe that building confidence and protecting a child's wellbeing is just as important as improving their academic skills. My sessions are designed to be engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each child's individual strengths and areas for development. Whether they need support with Maths, Reading, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS), or simply want to feel more confident in their abilities, I will adapt my teaching to help them reach their full potential. I take pride in developing positive relationships with my pupils, celebrating their progress, and helping them recognise what they are capable of achieving. My goal is not only to help children perform well in their SATs but also to foster a love of learning and the self-belief they need to succeed beyond the classroom.
