English tutor providing 1-1 tutoring for gcse and alevel students for both Maths and Physics

I'm currently studying Physics at the University of Nottingham and have been tutoring for the past four years. I started by helping a GCSE Maths student improve from a grade 7 to a grade 9, and a GCSE Physics student improve from a grade 5 to an 8. I still tutor both of these students now at A-level, helping them prepare for exams as well as supporting them with university applications. Over the years, I've learned that every student learns differently, so I try to tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs and goals. For example, one of my students studied well by herself so she just needed help going through difficult questions whilst another needed the push to get started on studying, and so we began by constructing notes together. My aim isn't just to help students get better grades but to act as a mentor throughout their school years to help them into university. I can help with writing personal statements as well as talk them through what they can do to boost their applications.
