Zena has been a fantastic teacher to help me with my cooking. It’s so nice to learn how to cook healthy fresh and quick meals, can’t rate her enough. Her book has been a feature in our kitchen now and we enjoy her recepies cooking as a family.

5/5 stars! The most perfect lady to start your cooking experience with (like me) or if you're a pro I'm sure you would learn even more. Zena was so helpful start to finish, even jumping on a call whenever I just wanted to check something mundane. couldn't recommend any one else!

My 2 kids, 10 and 12, love cooking with Zena. What started off with regular sessions in our house when they were little, turned a fews years ago when we moved to Austria, into online classes. Zena taught them practical skills, nutrition as well as kitchen safety in a super fun way. My kids can make entire recipes on their own with confidence and often make me breakfast on a Sunday and help me in the kitchen. Both my daughter and son were picky with food and hardly tried something new, but Zena has the skill to create excitement around the food so they both are now very adventurous and love trying new food especially when travelling abroad. A wonderful motivational teacher with lots of patience and love for kids and cooking. I can highly recommend her online classes!!

We booked a cooking session with Zena for out daughter which was alot of fun and our daughter loved it! Zena is so good at putting children at ease but also making the session lots of fun for them.

Zena's joy and passion for cooking and teaching others to cook healthy meals cannot go unnoticed. She has managed to make an arduous task delightful and fun for both adults and children. Working with her on a range of holiday food schools and food bank projects held both online and in person during and after the pandemic, Zena knows how to make use of the resources at her disposal to make even novices feel competent about their cooking skills. I have had a few lessons with Zena and she is amazing at what she does. We covered numerous different dishes from a variety of countries, which was both eye-opening and useful to discover different ways of cooking and a totally different cuisine from what we're used to. Furthermore, it gave me a few extra ideas for dishes that I could start cooking for myself. Apart from her knowledge, she is a very nice and welcoming person, which I would definitely recommend.

Informative, highly knowledgeable

Zena’s knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching about the benefits of cooking healthy meals is contagious. Zena delivered the lessons at the right level, adapted the pace to suit me and was informative about the ingredients we used. Zena considered meals that would work for me being pescatarian and also to help with menopausal symptoms especially migraines. As I learnt, the meals we cooked were full of vitamins and nutrients, most importantly protein which I needed. I was tired of buying prepared, processed meals so I batch cook these meals now to freeze. Most of the ingredients are either store cupboard or frozen so the shopping part is also simplified to help with a busy life. Zena has a lovely, supportive, nature and our lessons just fly by because we have so much fun. She made me feel comfortable about my limited food knowledge, is really approachable, nothing is too much trouble or silly to ask about. These lessons are my treat and I'm looking forward to the next one.
