I have a grade B in GCSE English language and Literature, so I have a thorough understanding of the subject and how it is taught. I have a slightly different approach to teaching, and I will not push a student until I know they have a thorough and complete working knowledge of a module before moving on. I use positive reinforcement to encourage and never express disappointment, because I know how damaging this can be. Every step forward is a positive step forward. Not understanding is still a step forward, and failure is one step closer to success.
