Very Experienced Guitar Tutor

A graduate of Trinity College of Music, London, I teach the classical, acoustic, electric & bass guitar. I teach individuals from an elementary level up to grade 8 which includes the examination boards of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity College of Music, Rock School & RGT. I also teach ukulele (beginner to advanced) and piano (beginner to intermediate) as well as theory. I’ve run many guitar ensembles which have sometimes included other instruments. My students also play regularly in school concerts. As well as teaching I very much enjoy giving talks and demonstrations on the guitar in schools. Professionally I perform as a classical guitarist which incorporates solo, chamber and concerto playing. I have performed in festivals and concert series throughout the UK. I also compose a lot of student pieces (varying standards) as well as more advanced pieces for the guitar. Lessons are there to be fun and get students to play the music they really want to.
