A passionate teacher with a master's degree in education

Hello, My name is Sumei. I have a strong background in education with a master's degree in education from the University of Edinburgh. Over the past few years, I have gained valuable experience in teaching English as a second language to Chinese students, working as a kindergarten teacher in the UK , and tutoring young children within my extended family for seven years. Teaching is my true passion, and I strive to create an engaging and enjoyable learning environment for my students. I believe in incorporating various interactive elements such as songs and games into my lessons to keep my students motivated and interested. By using different tones and expressions, I capture the attention and curiosity of children, making the learning process more exciting for them. One of the ways I make learning fun is by designing activities that are both entertaining and educational. For example, when teaching about pond animals, I create a mini pond using a water tray and include toy animals, butterflies, and leaves. This hands-on approach allows my students to actively participate and have fun while learning. I take pride in being a patient and enthusiastic teacher who values each student's individual progress. Seeing my students enjoy themselves and make significant strides in their learning journey brings me great joy and satisfaction. For further communication, please email me as I might not be able to answer phonecalls. Thank you.
