Professional private tutor, GCSE, iGCSE, and A level examiner, and home education coordinator with over a decade of experience

Matt has been tutoring my two sons (Year 8) in English for a few months now. Due to the pandemic this has been online. It has worked really well and they both actively look forward to the lessons even though they are on a Friday evening (which has been really surprising!) Matt is flexible with content for the sessions e.g. if there is homework they need help with. Most importantly though, Matt has taken the time to build a rapport with the boys which has obviously worked, as both were very resistant to the idea initially.

We've been using Matt for a while for GCSE lessons for our son and his History and English have improved massively. He has gone up 3 grades in both English subjects and 4 grades in History. Definitely recommend Matt for lessons!

Matt is an amazing tutor. Great lessons. Really takes the time to build strong rapport and helps you understand the material.

Matt is a great tutor and helped me tremendously in improving my exam skills and covering the content that I needed. I couldn't recommend him more highly as his lessons are always well-planned and well structured and he provides prompt feedback to all the assignments.

Matt is a great tutor; he really understands his students and finds the best way to help them achieve their goals. We can't recommend Matt highly enough - he is organised, structured, and enthusiastic in his approach. We've already seen the results of his lessons and the impacts on our child's grades!
