Struggling with Maths? Build Confidence, Master Difficult Topics and Improve Your Grades

Do you find maths confusing, or understand it in class but struggle when working alone? I provide personalised maths tuition for secondary school, GCSE and A-level students, with clear, step-by-step teaching tailored to each student’s current level, learning needs and academic goals. Whether a student finds maths confusing, understands it in class but struggles when working alone, or wants to achieve a higher grade, I help them develop their understanding, problem-solving skills and confidence. I hold a BSc in Mathematics from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and have previous experience tutoring A-level Mathematics. I explain the reasoning behind each method rather than simply giving answers, then guide students through examples until they can solve problems independently. Lessons can focus on difficult topics, homework support, upcoming tests or exam-style practice. Subjects covered can include algebra, equations, graphs, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, functions and calculus. I also help students improve their accuracy, show clear working and develop effective exam technique. Every lesson takes place in a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
