French and Italian tutoring for exams, professionals, conversation of all levels

I have been having regular French speaking and writing sessions to improve fluency and expression with Jeanne for the past year. This has helped me enormously and I feel that I have made great progress, I am now a much more confident speaker. Jeanne is very patient and encouraging and offers helpful grammar advice as well as the cultural insights that are required at A-level.

Jeanne is a brilliant language teacher. I have been working with her for some time now. I was an almost complete beginner at the start of our sessions, needing to be taught the basics and structure of the French language. I have progressed to having conversations with her. My ability to understand and speak French has increased a hundredfold. I am now able to visit France and be confident that I will be understood and understand what I hear. I can highly recommend her.

Jeanne is ‘favolosa!’ She has been my Italian teacher for quite a few years, at first face to face every fortnight, and for some time now, my lessons have been via email because life is too busy and we can’t do everything that we would wish. She has been so accommodating of that, and finds me interesting things to research or comment upon, or grammar tasks to keep me on my toes. I heartily recommend her teaching style and effort to make it interesting from lesson to lesson.

Jeanne is a great tutor! I started learning Italian around 9 months ago, and in that time we have progressed from talking in English and learning grammar to mostly talking in Italian for an hour every week. She has also recommended a lot of very good resources for me to progress when we're not working together, particularly reading and podcast resources. Overall I cannot recommend her highly enough!
