Latin American Geographer and Development Specialist

I got my PhD in 2003 and have spent the years since in researching and teaching on a variety of (geographical) topics -sociological, developmental, political, economic and energy. I did my doctorate in Nicaragua, have lived and worked in Barcelona, been an international observer in Latin American elections and have lived and worked in and out of the region for some time. More recently I have been working on renewable energy and low carbon transitions, with colleagues in Africa and Latin America. I have worked and researched in African countries and in Bangladesh on small-scale community renewable energy projects
