Hello! I'm Emma, a CELTA-qualified English teacher who enjoys helping children develop their English skills in a friendly, patient and encouraging environment. I understand that every child learns differently. My aim is to make learning English enjoyable while helping children build confidence and strengthen their understanding of the language. How I can help your child Grammar: Understand grammar rules and learn how to use them correctly. Reading comprehension: Develop reading skills, understand texts and answer questions with confidence. Writing and sentence construction: Learn to write clear sentences and express ideas effectively. Spelling and punctuation: Practise spelling patterns, punctuation and the correct use of capital letters. Vocabulary: Discover new words and learn how to use them in everyday language and writing. Schoolwork support: Reinforce skills learned at school through personalised activities and explanations suited to your child's level. I have experience teaching English to learners from different backgrounds, including supporting a British primary-school child with English skills and SATs preparation. My lessons are adapted to each child's needs and learning pace. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where children feel comfortable asking questions, practising new skills and learning from their mistakes. I want children not only to improve their English but also to feel more confident and enjoy the learning process.
