PGCE trained encouraging French tutor for children and adults

Lisa is simply wonderful. She has a calm encouraging way of working with first my year 8 son to top up his french, and then two weeks before my daughter’s oral GCSE to absolutely boost her confidence and make her exam ready. Both of our children really like her and feel she is great. I was particularly struck by my daughter taking time to tell me that it was not only the content that Lisa was able to teach her but it was her way of making my daughter feel looked after and that it was all going to be okay and she should and could feel confident. That was gold dust. Our entire family highly recommend Lisa too you.

Lisa is a competent and astute teacher who can quickly assess students and provide appropriate work accordingly. She is encouraging with reticent students, developing oral skills in an entertaining way. Her lessons are well paced and enjoyable.

Lisa is a great tutor if you’re interested in improving your French speaking and grammar. She is supportive and willing to help you progress your language skills at whatever level you’re at. Lisa is suitable for advanced learners too, as she speaks very good French. Would definitely recommend!

I met Lisa a number of years ago when I joined a beginners French class. She was a great teacher. She was sensitive to adult learners possibly feeling self conscious speaking aloud and she was able to make learning relevant and interesting She was well organised and methodical. I felt relaxed in her class and learnt very well under her tutorage

Madame Lisa has been incredible for my son (11 y/o). She is very patient, kind, and has a wonderful way of connecting with kids, making learning both effective and enjoyable. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my son’s understanding and confidence since he started working with madame Lisa. I couldn’t be happier with the progress my son has made. Highly recommended!
