Enthusiastic Incoming Warwick Student | A-Level Chemistry & GCSE STEM Tutor

Hello! I am an incoming Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Warwick, offering expert, supportive tutoring for A-Level Biology. Because I completed my own A-Levels very recently, I understand exactly how overwhelming the transition from GCSE can feel. The volume of vocabulary and intricate cellular details can be daunting, but my goal is to guide you step-by-step until the most difficult topics feel completely natural Where I Can Help You Excel Instead of memorising heavy blocks of text, I focus on building a genuine, logical understanding of biology. My main areas of expertise include: Simplifying Intricate Pathways: Topics like the Krebs cycle, light-dependent reactions in photosynthesis, and nerve impulse transmission are notoriously difficult. I help you transform these abstract, complex mechanisms into clear, step-by-step visual storyboards and diagrams. Solidifying Paper 1 Fundamentals: A strong performance on Paper 1 sets the stage for exam success. We will master the core foundational units, including complex protein structures, enzyme kinetics, cell membrane transport, and nucleic acids. Tackling Practical Data & Math Prompts: Many marks are lost on experimental analysis, standard deviation calculations, and graph interpretation. I will show you how to dissect scientific data systematically to claim these easy marks. The Layout of Our Sessions Our tutorials are highly dynamic and tailored around your current pace in school. We begin each lesson with a rapid active-recall check to reinforce your memory of previous topics. From there, we map out the day's biological concept using interactive visual tools, focusing on the why and how behind the science. Cracking the Mark Scheme The biggest secret to A-Level Biology is learning how to write answers that match the strict exam board criteria. I will train you to identify the hidden command words in exam questions and teach you the precise scientific vocabulary needed to trigger full marks. As a 3x Medical School offer holder, I bring an encouraging, strategic, and highly effective approach to learning. I offer a friendly, judgment-free space where you can comfortably ask questions and build true academic confidence. Let’s work together to take the stress out of biology and get you ready to excel in your exams!
