Chemistry and Biology A-Level Specialist & 9-9 GCSE Science Tutor

Hi there! I am a First year Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Warwick with a deep passion for the sciences. Having recently completed my A-Levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics (achieved 3As), I understand exactly how challenging the jump from GCSE to A-Level Chemistry can feel. Alongside my A-Levels, I achieved straight Grade 9s in GCSE Mathematics and Combined Science (Trilogy). My goal is to use my recent exam experience to help students break down complex topics, build strong study habits, and approach their exams with genuine confidence. My Teaching Approach~ Chemistry can often feel overwhelming due to the sheer volume of organic mechanisms and the mathematical reasoning behind the high marking physical chemistry questions. I focus on making the subject manageable and engaging by using Step-by-Step Problem Solving: We break down complex Year 12 and 13 physical chemistry equations into simple, logical steps. Active Recall & Active Learning: I use targeted exam questions to make sure core concepts (like organic pathways) actually stick, rather than just reading from a textbook Exam Technique & Mark Schemes: We look closely at real exam papers so you learn exactly what keywords examiners are looking for to award full marks. University Admissions Support-As an international student, I successfully navigated the highly competitive UK application system, securing three Medical School offers (including the University of St Andrews) alongside my Warwick Biomedical offer. If you are looking for guidance on personal statements, strategic university choices, or interview preparation—especially if you are aiming to overcome setbacks or low test scores—I am incredibly happy to mentor you through the process. Whether you need regular weekly support to stay on top of your A-Level Chemistry classes or an encouraging mentor to help guide your university applications, I am here to help you succeed! I am very well aware of the financial restrictions that students face, hence I offer high-quality, tailored tutoring designed to fit your budget. exam-focused tutoring starting from just £22/hour for GCSE Maths/Sciences and £25/hour for A-Level Chemistry and biology.
