Private flute instructor offering lessons to all ages, all levels

Norda is a one in a million - She has this wonderful energy and passion about her combined with rigour and a love of teaching - Our daughter has developed exponentially under Norda's guidance and loves playing the flute. I would highly highly recommend her

Norda is a very talented musician and has been an inspirational flute teacher for my 12-year-old daughter. Norda is fun and engaging and has really helped my daughter achieve a distinction in her recent grade 2 examination. My daughter always looks forward to her lessons with her. Thank you Norda.

Norda was such a supportive and enthusiastic teacher for our son. The early days of learning the flute are hard because it's difficult to get a sound out at the start. But Norda was always so encouraging and our son really enjoyed his lessons and made really quick progress. She made everything fun and brought a wonderful energy to her teaching alongside her knowledge and incredible musicality.

Very impressive teacher, both very competent in demonstrating, very insightful on diagnosing issues and highly supportive. She has helped me enormously in starting out with a local orchestra and is always super positive and encouraging

Norda is a top class classical flautist and as the Moody Blues 21st century flautist a world famous jazz flautist. But more important she is also a great teacher. Her great technical knowledge means she always offers solutions to problems. She is fun and a great exponent of the power of positive feedback. Each week I leave her lesson motivated to keep playing and to enjoy my flute. I know she is a great teacher of children but I've taken up the flute in my late 70s, proving she is good with any age.
