I am a fully qualified, teacher with 25 years of experience teaching KS4, and KS5 through to university level Spanish including GC

I was really struggling with my A-level Spanish and was only getting Cs and Ds. My mum found Dolores through word of mouth and I couldn't be happier. Her classes were interactive and she genuinely cared about my grades. I ended up getting an A and I went on to study it at university.

I was looking for support to help my daughter with her A level Spanish and we were lucky to find Dolores. She is extremely knowledgeable and her teaching techniques were engaging, keeping the subject relevant with plenty of listening and oral practice. I thoroughly recommend her tuition.

I highly recommend Dolores as a teacher. She made the lessons fun and helped me to gain confidence in the language.

Dolores a great teacher. The classes are adjusted to my needs. Which we’re improving my confidence and speaking/ communication skills. Whilst being incredibly patient. Would highly recommend !

I have been taking private Spanish lessons with Dolores since the start of the year and have thoroughly enjoyed my time. From an absolute beginner who thought gracias meant hello, to now being able to understand conversations to a certain degree and speak some Spanish to locals confidently is a testament to Dolores and the way she has gradually build my skills and confidence in a relatively short time span. Her patience and humour make it a settling and comfortable environment to learn and it’s great to see the progress we have made this year. If you are looking for a tutor to help you, I couldn’t recommend anyone more suitable than Dolores.
