Lively and engaging History (& other related subjects) Tutoring for pupils from aged 7 upwards

I have an MA and a BA (Hons) Upper Second in Ancient & Modern History from the The Queen's College, Oxford, along with 28 years of teaching experience. I am a lively and engaging tutor who will give you the skills, the subject knowledge and the confidence that you need through 1-2-1 sessions. I can teach History, as well as Politics, Classical Civilisation and the EPQ. I am an expert in essay writing skills and examination technique, not least having been an examiner. I also specialise in preparing students for entrance to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. I teach oracy and interview skills which are also essential for life and not simply for acing examinations! My style is not to be a 'sage on the stage', but your 'guide on the side' so that you can progress and pass the examinations you need, but as a true indendent learner, another key life skill.
