Sixth form student with a few months of tutoring experience. Teaching maths from primary to GCSE online. Achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and Further Maths

Hi, I'm Eman, a current A Level student studying Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and Further Maths and I'm predicted A*s across all three subjects at A Level. For a general lesson, I like to explain the concepts and then finish with practice questions to build confidence. I will also check understanding with students regularly such as going through challenging questions from previous topics learnt rather than rushing ahead and not reviewing anything. I believe that spaced repetition is essential in learning. Depending on what you need, I can focus more on exam preparation like working through past papers and exam technique for exam focused students or on building a solid grasp of core concepts from the ground up. Many students benefit from a mix of both and I'm happy to adjust the balance based on your goals. For primary or KS3 students, my teaching approach is more focused on understanding where building strong foundations early makes a real difference later on. Lessons typically run for 1 hour, though this can be adjusted depending on the topic or your preference. I have a few months of tutoring experience and I have helped students build both skills and confidence in these subjects. My lessons are suited to primary and secondary school students whether you are just getting started with a topic or working towards top grades at GCSE.
