I have tutored for over a year both online for students and family members. In my lessons, I will start with a few questions to get the student ready for the session, I will then teach them the subject that we are covering in that session, and then I will give them some questions which will include exam style questions. If the student has any troubles going over any of the questions, I will try and talk them through it or give them some hints. If they still do not know what to do, I will start to write the answer and then allow them to finish. Closer to exam time (for those doing exams), I will go over exam papers, allowing the student to answer the questions them self (I will not interrupt) and then afterwards, I will go through the mark scheme with them.
