Qualified, Experienced Primary School Teacher offering 1:1 and group sessions, online and in person

Hello :) I have an undergraduate degree in Education Studies and qualified as a primary school teacher in 2022. I have experience working across the primary ages, primarily teaching Year 2 and Year 6. I have prepared classes for both the KS1 and KS2 SATs, as well as the Phonics Screening Test. I am trained to teach Little Wandle and Read Write Inc Phonics. I adore teaching and love putting a smile on my students' faces. Watching children have that 'light-bulb' moment after finding a particular skill or concept challenging is my favourite part of the job. I have experience in and a passion for helping children not only thrive academically, but also developing their social and emotional skills when learning. I adopt a growth mindset approach to teaching, where children are taught to embrace and persist when experiencing challenges and set-backs. I am friendly, supportive and I like my students to have fun during their learning. However, I also hold high and consistent expectations for behaviour.
