At the end fo each of our 60-minute sessions, I want my tutees to be able to do something they didn't know at the start. We will work on exam practice, decoding questions, structuring answers, and reinforcing key knowledge and understanding.
I am a fully qualified teacher with QTS and have taught Biology and Science for 15 years, including 8 years at one of the most successful state schools in the country. I have spent two years as a SENCO, working with students with ADHD, ASD, PDA and other additional needs. I have expertise in using storytelling and questioning techniques to enhance engagement. I am comfortable working with students of all abilities from 11+
