I would describe myself as a resilient, passionate and empathetic tutor. My lessons are aimed at secondary school students - GCSEs

Shaya has supported my son with both GCSE English Language and Literature, and her dedication has been exceptional. She is deeply passionate about teaching and about the subject itself. She always reviewed his writing thoroughly before each lesson, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about his progress. For example, on her day off, she contacted me to ask for detailed information about the content of his upcoming mock exams, just to ensure he covered everything he needed. Thanks to her guidance, his grade improved from a 4 to a 7 within just three to four months. We feel very fortunate to have had her as his tutor. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

She has made a huge difference to my confidence and skills in GCSE English and Maths. She explains everything clearly and is incredibly patient and encouraging. She goes the extra mile to support her students and is very flexible, which made a big impact on me.

Shaya is an excellent tutor , she explains concepts with great clarity and makes them easy to understand and remember. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive tutor.

I was failing English before with 2’s and 3’s but with Shaya’s help I got up to a 6 in lit and 7 in lang.

Last year, Shaya tutored my son from his first mock in November to his last one ,in year 10. Because of Shaya’s continuous help, my son was able to get a 7 from his previous grade of a 3.

Very good at explaining things

My daughter is currently in hear 10 and is struggling with GCSE Biology, but her tutor is absolutely fantastic. She explains everything clearly, builds her confidence, and makes the subject enjoyable. Her understanding and grades have improved so much.

Shaya is excellent at explaining even the most difficult topics in simple ways which makes her lessons easy to understand. However what makes shaya the best tutor I've ever had is her kindness and friendless. No matter how many times I messed up or didn't understand something I always felt comfortable and confident enough to ask her questions without fear of judgement.
