Oxford Astrophysics PhD student and Oxford MPhys alumn. ESAT and A Level maths and physics tutor with 6 years of experience

- DPhil in Astrophysics student, University of Oxford - MPhys Physics alumn, University of Oxford - Published research in galactic astronomy Traditional classroom teaching did not always match the way I learn, which has shaped the way I teach today. Rather than encouraging students to memorise methods, I focus on helping them understand the why behind every concept. I explain complex ideas in physics and mathematics by starting from first principles and gradually building towards more advanced topics, checking for understanding at every stage. - 1.5h sessions - A Level mathematics, further mathematics and physics tutoring - 1,100+ hours of one-to-one teaching - Mathematics and physics teacher at a British international school - Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, and Ivy League admissions preparation - ESAT preparation - Engineering and physics admissions preparation - University interview coaching
