Italian and Latin tutor teaches students all ages

I have been trying, on and off, to learn Italian for more than thirty years and never in all that time have I tapped into a resource more valuable than Susanna’s teaching. She is understanding, calm, precise, utterly reliable, dedicated and kind. She is astute, which means that she identifies the areas on which you as a student need to focus and she is flexible, which means that she adapts her lessons to address those very areas. She is also funny, cultured, hugely intelligent and hugely well-informed, which means she is a pleasure to talk and be with. She is the sort of person who makes you genuinely want to improve and I can’t recommend her too highly. I’d like to say, thank you so much Susanna. Or, better, “grazie tante”!

I cannot recommend Susanna highly enough!! She is so patient and kind and dedicated, she explains everything clearly, and she structures each lesson in responsive and imaginative ways. As an independent adult learner, I have struggled in the past to find tutors who met my specific study requirements (i.e. finding ways to balance study with full-time work). But after just a few months, I am much more confident with my Italian and feel inspired and excited to keep learning with Susanna! If you are looking for the perfect Italian tutor, then look no further!

Susanna is a professional and imaginative teacher, and a very kind, pleasant friend and colleague. She is honest and trustworthy in every respect. Her knowledge of her subject is wide-reaching, and she takes every opportunity to exploit materials and give students individual attention and feedback. I would recommend her for any teaching post in your organisation.

Susanna is very clear in her instructions, but she is also very well read and a teacher of the classics as well as Italian. She has a deep and wide understanding of major works, and this enables her to be a brilliant teacher.

Friendly, stimulating and fun, but also accurate, clear and intelligent. Susanna has been my regular Italian tutor for three years. I really look forward to her lessons

Susanna is a patient and understanding tutor who can create a supportive and encouraging learning environment which helped me, as her student, feel motivated and confident in my learning. Susanna can effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner, fostering a love for the subject in her students. Susanna can adapt her teaching style to accommodate various learning styles and abilities from different students. The comfortable learning environment she is able to create always made me feel encouraged to ask questions and make mistakes, knowing she would always support me throughout my learning journey.
