GCSE English Language Tutoring for students Year 7 - Year 11

I offer personalised GCSE English Language tutoring tailored to each student’s exam board, learning style, and academic goals. Lessons are carefully structured and include clear PowerPoint presentations to explain and review key syllabus topics, alongside regular exam practice to build confidence and improve exam technique. Students will work through past paper questions during sessions to develop a strong understanding of how to approach and answer GCSE exam questions effectively. To support long-term understanding and memory retention, I also incorporate interactive activities and revision games where appropriate, helping lessons remain engaging while reinforcing core concepts. I have experience teaching science and english to primary-aged children, working in international schools supporting students learning English as a foreign language, and tutoring first- and second-year university Biological Sciences students. These roles have helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to adapt lessons to suit different ages, abilities, and learning needs. Lessons are fully tailored to the student’s schedule and individual requirements. Resources and revision materials will be available outside of sessions, and students are welcome to contact me with questions via email between lessons for additional support. I primarily teach online, but I can also be flexible with in-person sessions where appropriate. My aim is not only to improve grades, but also to help students build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of English Language. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing independent study skills, and progressing at a pace that works best for them.
