Biology/Geology/Science/Maths tutor for all ages: Doctoral student excited to share my passion for science with you!
Advert description
I graduated from Tufts University and am currently a PhD student in Vertebrate Paleontology at the University of Oxford and cannot wait to share my love of the sciences with you!
My tutoring approach is founded on the principle of empowerment. A typical lesson with me is a structured voyage with well-defined goals. At the outset, we'll collaboratively set concrete objectives for the session. This ensures that our time is optimized, making every moment count toward your progress. I recognize that every student is unique, with distinct strengths and challenges. Therefore, I tailor each lesson to your specific needs. Learning is most effective when it's relatable to real life. That's why I strive to establish connections between the subject matter and everyday experiences.
I have had the privilege of working with students across various age groups, allowing me to adapt and refine my teaching methods. From pre-K learners brimming with curiosity to high school students on the brink of academic achievements, I have honed my skills to meet diverse needs.
