There are countless and infinite amounts of positive feedback I may give you about Douglas and his success teaching math.. such that I’m gifted with mathematical intuition. This is not a gift that hadn’t been developed, complicated and conditioned without the savagely more superior intuitions of Douglas the man who can make math more fun than I thought calculus said Analysis is the Father. And he is very aggressive and serious, so when he patiently waited 15 minutes to hear my autobiographical account of temporary insanity, and as a future lawyer I’m a 5th/6th amendment nightmare that on appeal may it please the court Douglas showed.no ineffectiveness of counsel. His only advice was instruction and that’s all I needed… I would call it teaching expertise to be clear you are buying a Douglas Maybach, any other tutor is the null set. Douglas also started incorporating unspoken humor to Mappings. He is clearly a complex sea biscuit

Fantastic tutor. Put my daughter at ease quickly and does a great job of explain difficult concepts . Provides challenging material so she can progress quickly. Both in person and online sessions have been equally successful . Her confidence in maths has definitely increased in a short period with individual tutoring and always thoroughly enjoys the sessions . Communication with Douglas is always quick and he has been very flexible scheduling suitable times.

We highly recommend Douglas as a tutor. Our son has developed an interest in Maths and is working towards Olympiad/BMO problems whilst doing his GCSES. Our school is OK, but we wanted a dedicated tutor that can really inspire. Douglas quickly built a good relationship and is always encouraging. The lessons are packed with information and advice. He is quick to respond to emails and gave us lots of time and support to plan out the best way to use the lessons. His feedback is always extensive and helpful. So glad we picked him!! 5++ stars

My son has responded really well to his A-Level Maths sessions with Douglas and his grades have begun to improve immediately. Douglas went above and beyond to ensure my son understood all the materials. He was well prepared before the lesson, and gave lots of support materials before and after. My son is already feeling much more confident and prepared for exams. He also gave us lots of useful information about how to prepare for applying to a top-tier UK university.
