Tutor providing online and face to face learning for students in KS3 and 4

I have over 20 years of experience in education, including more than 7 years as an assistant headteacher. Supporting young people to become the best version of themselves is at the heart of everything I do. I am passionate about coaching leadership and creating environments where both students and staff can thrive. One of my proudest achievements is leading a school of over 1,700 students to achieve an Ofsted Outstanding rating for Behaviour and Attitudes in September 2023. Additionally, I’ve helped maintain attendance above the national average for two consecutive years. My experience as an assistant headteacher spans a wide range of responsibilities, including behavior management, attendance, safeguarding, restorative practices, pastoral leadership, staff development, strategic planning, and governors reporting. I also take pride in my roles as CIC (Children in Care) lead, Wellbeing Lead, coaching practice lead, and Educational Visits Coordinator. My work extends to areas such as curriculum audits, PSHE delivery, careers guidance, transition planning, and creating effective rewards systems that celebrate student success. I am committed to fostering inclusive, supportive, and high-achieving school communities where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
