I am a native english speaker, I have experience in teaching english. Learning a new language is difficult, let's excel together!

My name is Ellie, and I recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in History and Art History and Visual Culture. Throughout my academic journey, I've honed my skills in written and verbal English through numerous essays and presentations. Currently, I am dedicated to shaping young minds as an English tutor for schoolchildren aged 12 to 18. My upbringing, split between the bustling streets of London and the vibrant cultural hub of Lisbon, has instilled in me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those learning English as a second language. This unique background fuels my passion for teaching and empowers me to connect with students on a personal level, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment. With two years of teaching experience under my belt, including online tutoring alongside my university studies, I have developed a versatile approach to instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. My previous role involved teaching English as a school subject to students, allowing me to refine my techniques and strategies for facilitating language acquisition.
