Experienced primary teacher with over 20 years experience across whole primary phase

I am a highly experienced primary teacher, having taught across the primary phase in both the U.K and Middle East. Strengths Include: Over 10 years of tutoring on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Subject Leadership in English and SEND. Currently teaching part- time in an outstanding primary school with comprehensive up-to-date knowledge of the primary curriculum framework. Effective communication, ensuring adaptability in teaching styles to cater for all needs and requirements. Year 6 SATs- expectations, preparation and tips. I am currently a primary supply teacher, teaching focused 1:1 sessions and classes. I have taught for over 20 years, and have extensive experience of teaching EAL, SEMH, SEND as well as being subject leader in a range of subjects. My approach to teaching and learning has always been child- centric: I have a real passion for allowing children to learn in a holistic way; focussing on learning as an organic process that will prepare and equip children with the necessary knowledge, empathy and skills to thrive in our ever changing world.
