Friendly, experienced French, German & EFL tutor helping learners of all ages gain confidence, make progress and achieve results

I’m a friendly, experienced teacher of French, German and EFL, passionate about helping learners of all ages build confidence and make real, lasting progress. With a BA Joint Honours in French and German and experience teaching from Primary to A Level, I understand exactly how to identify strengths, spot gaps, and provide the right scaffolding to move students forward. Having been an examiner and team leader for French A Level for a major exam board, I understand the skills and knowledge required to gain exceptional grades. I specialise in supporting learners who feel “stuck”, anxious or unsure of their ability. Over the years, I’ve developed clear, practical strategies that help students overcome barriers, stay motivated and finally feel successful in language learning. Whether you’re preparing for GCSE or A Level, starting from scratch, or returning to languages as an adult, I tailor every lesson to your goals, pace and confidence level. No one is ever too young or too old to learn a language — and I’m here to help you enjoy the journey as much as the progress.
