Yoga made accessible for all to help balance our mind and body

I am based in Balderton, Newark On Trent, Nottinghamshire. I am offering one-to-one or group personalised Hatha or Vinyasa style yoga sessions with an emphasis on achieving a somatic, mind-body connection. I can offer these in person or online. In January, I completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha/Vinyasa at Shiva Rishi Yoga School in Varkala, India. I am extremely passionate about working with the body as a means to heal and find yoga to be the perfect modality to do this. All of us need and deserve some healing in our lives, yoga can hold that space for us. I find Hatha Yoga to tick all the boxes for those who want the physical aspect of yoga but also want to try practicing higher levels of concentration, connection to the breath and full body relaxation. In our consultation, we can incorporate different elements of yoga including pranayama(breathing exercises), guided meditation (non-guided if desired), a varied and tailored physical practice and upon request we can discuss some elements of yoga philosophy. I am extremely considerate with body alignments to ensure you are practicing every pose safely for your body. In our initial consultation we can discuss any health issues you may have and wish to be mindful of. I am in training to become a Somatic Experiencing practitioner, this will be an element of our yoga sessions but I am also happy to deliver a Somatic focused session for those who are curious. Our lessons will be 90 minutes and can be for all ages and levels of yoga experience.
