Warm, exam-focused English tutor for Cambridge, Pearson & British curricula

Hi! I'm Ivy, an English language tutor with experience teaching the Cambridge, Pearson and British English curricula to students of different ages and ability levels. Every student I've tutored has gone on to do well in their assessments. I'm completing my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education at Kenyatta University, and I've also worked as a teaching intern and volunteer teacher in high schools, and as a mentor in a literacy programme for children. My lessons are patient, friendly and built around each student's pace and learning style. We work on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing and exam technique, with clear feedback after each session. Because I hold a Peer Counsellor Certificate and have completed coursework for a Diploma in Counselling Psychology, I also focus on confidence and motivation, so students feel supported as well as prepared. Lessons are available online or in person. Message me to book a first lesson, and we'll set clear goals together!
