Finding the balance between grammar and fun

My knowledge of Spanish was developed during my insurance career which included a secondment to Venezuela and numerous trips to Latin America in general. I have tutored at Adult Learning Centres at both beginner and improver level. I try to encourage curiosity and use the principle of finding patterns in the language which open it up beyond individual items of vocabulary and grammar.
